How do I get a painting and decorating estimate?
Tell us about what you need, ideally room size, what you would like done, if iterior or exterior etc. We can then plan a quote. For complex projects just book a time with us and we’ll come and view the project with you.
I'm not sure what paint finish to choose
Just tell us what you are looking to achieve and we will do the leg work for you to tell you what is available. We can also provide samples.
How long will the work take?
We pride ourselves on speed and efficency without short-cutting on quality. With any quote we will also give you an accurate time estimate.
how big is your team?
More often than not, the decorating project is taken care of by two decorators. If there’s a deadline to meet then a selection of other qualified decorators are brought in. We are usually working on several projects and can ensure we have the team necessary to complete any job to the highest standards.
I'm not sure on what final colours to choose
Practical advice on colour is on hand to make sure you make the right decision when choosing your colour schemes and how they compliment one another.
Are there additional or hidden costs?
Our quotes are accurate and factor in eveything we need. Our estimates are transparent with no hidden costs, what you see if what you pay.
Is there anything I need to do before painting or decorating starts?
It really depends on the space. Where possible move furniture and other items as much as possible, as this makes it easier and quicker to begin the work preperation. This is not always possibe for example, we’re used to working around office or commerical fittings.
Once the painting or decoration is complete, how long before a room is useable?
It’s about 24 hours for paint to “feel” dry. Depending on the type of paint used, what surface it is used on etc. So 1-2 hours and furniture can be moved back. It can take up to 2 weeks to fully set so just be careful with any accidental knocks during that time.
Are you insured?
Yes – Public Liability Insurance is in place
Do you provide the materials?
Work is priced on the area to be painted unless a day rate has been agreed with the customer. We are not VAT registered so no VAT will be added to the final bill. All materials will require payment upfront by the customer and then the labour charge to be settled once the work is complete unless the project is big in which payment in installments throughout the work would be required.
